On this #EndangeredSpeciesDay, and alongside our partners at species360, we are excited to share news of the first major ZIMS release of 2026: the Reproduction Dashboard. ZIMS stands for Zoological Information Management System - a cloud-based software platform used by zoos, aquariums, wildlife parks, sanctuaries, and conservation organizations around the world to manage animal records. It is developed and maintained by Species360, a global nonprofit organization focused on wildlife data and conservation collaboration. The Reproduction Dashboard provides a wealth of data on reproduction for over 12,000 species supporting smarter population planning and improved animal well-being. This enables members to make evidence-based decisions for the animals in their care.
