Most of America just admitted what a lot of us have been feeling for a while. 👀 A new Pew Research Center survey of over 3,500 Americans found that 59% believe the country's best days are already behind it, and only 40% think the best is still to come. And it's not a partisan thing. 64% of Democrats AND 53% of Republicans share that same bleak outlook. But here's what stood out most: Black and Hispanic Americans are the most pessimistic of any group, with nearly two-thirds of each community saying America's best days are in the rearview. And given everything (book bans, unemployment spikes, immigration crackdowns, attacks on DEI) can you really blame us? The only group that didn't lean pessimistic? Wealthier Americans, who were evenly split. Link in bio for the full breakdown. 🔗 Do you think America's best days are ahead or behind us?
