What if the windows in your home, car, or office could quietly generate electricity without looking any different? Researchers at Korea’s Incheon National University are developing ultra-thin transparent solar cells that can absorb invisible ultraviolet and infrared light while still letting normal visible light pass through. That means everyday glass could someday help power devices, charge wearables, or even extend the range of electric vehicles, all without bulky rooftop panels or noticeable changes in design.
