Day 16 – final day of competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games treated us to a thrilling women’s marathon. Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands made history, winning gold with a new Olympic record of 2:22:55. The top Canadian, Malindi Elmore, finished 35th on a hilly course between Paris and Chateau de Versailles.
