Grateful for every season that taught me that pouring into everyone else while neglecting myself was never sustainable. For years, I was the caretaker, the listener, the one making sure everybody else was okay emotionally, mentally, and physically. All while silently running on empty myself. I loved people deeply, showed up endlessly, and carried so much for others, but somewhere along the way, I forgot that I deserved that same love and care too. Now, I’m choosing me without guilt. I’m learning that rest is necessary, boundaries are healthy, and self-love is not selfish. I deserve the same softness, support, and compassion that I so freely gave and give to everyone else.
