Prince George’s County says there are safety issues with a new, multimillion-dollar public plaza. The county fenced off Largo Civic Plaza after the $10 million project was handed over.
County Executive Aisha Braveboy's administration says it has safety concerns and the plaza will be partially torn down.
But one of the artists involved in the project refutes those safety claims.
The public art project is part of the Blue Line Corridor Project, for which former County Executive Angela Alsobrooks secured $400 million from the Maryland Stadium Authority.
