The Kelowna Rockets have released their specialty commemorative jerseys for the Memorial Cup, and they are FIRE! 😮‍💨🔥 The uniform honours the 100th anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion and takes inspiration from the proof silver dollar created by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the Legion’s centennial. This uniform continues the 18-year tradition of the Memorial Cup host team wearing a commemorative jersey during their opening game of the tournament. Since then, more than $320,000 has been raised in support of The Royal Canadian Legion’s Dominion Command Poppy Trust Fund. (via: @kelownarocketswhl)
