These works were created a couple of years ago in Kaliningrad, Russia, during one of the darkest and most transformative periods of my life. At the time, I felt as if my old identity was slowly dying. Art became the only place where I could still hear myself. I signed these works with my maiden name as a way of holding onto my roots while everything inside me was changing. What felt like a dark night of the soul slowly became a rebirth through art, surrounded by the presence of my family, my memories, and the city where this transformation began.
