🐴🐶 Sherman students recently had the opportunity to take their chiropractic education beyond the human body during a hands-on Animal Chiropractic Workshop with Sherman faculty, Dr. Jay Komarek. Over two days of immersive learning, students explored canine and equine chiropractic techniques while gaining real-world experience in assessment, palpation, and understanding the relationship among structure, motion, and nervous system function in animal care. From working with dogs on Friday to hands-on equine instruction on Saturday, the workshop gave students valuable insight into the growing field of animal chiropractic and the many ways chiropractic principles can support overall wellness.
