Last year I finished Murph in over an hour with banded pull-ups and a lot of grit. I was so proud of myself for pushing and doing something I didn’t think I was capable of.
Today, I showed up with a simple goal: banded pull-ups again, just faster than last time.
But then… my coach believed in me before I believed in myself. And something shifted.
I told myself maybe I’d try half without the band… and then somewhere between doubt, deep breaths, and the energy of this community… I did every single pull-up unassisted.
55:06. No band.
A year of showing up.
A year of consistency.
A year of doing the work when no one’s watching.
This is what happens when you stay committed, lean into the people around you, and push past the limits you thought were real.
Progress doesn’t always scream… sometimes it quietly shows up and shocks you.
Forever grateful for this community that sees more in me than I sometimes see in myself 🤍
