We often think loving our neighbor means being nice… staying out of the way… keeping the peace. But Jesus shows us something different. He moves toward people. He notices what others miss. He chooses love—even when it’s inconvenient. And most of the time, it looks small: a conversation you didn’t plan for, a meal you didn’t have time to make, a moment you almost walked past. Sometimes your neighbor is across the street. Sometimes they’re in your own home. You won’t do this perfectly.
