Our pal Mat_Buckets is back and this time he’s in South Manchester with jewellery designer and SkenStudios founder SabiraSilcock. Sken Studios is a sustainable jewellery brand making playful, humorous pieces. The designs are all lovingly handmade in recycled silver by Sabira and carefully packaged using recycled materials - because they’re not only here for a good time, but a long time too. With Sabira’s guidance and expert know-how Mat learns about the ring making process - designing the shape of the ring, carving and filing the wax ring blank and finally adding a little It’s Nice That twist.
