My road to the LA 2028 Paralympics continues. Ever since I tore my ACL on the Road to Paris 2024 I have been really nervous to get back into my intense judo schedule. I had plenty of excuses between my newborn daughter and my injury to keep me off the mat for a couple years now. BUT my goal to be a real Paralympian continues. I want that title and it has to be earned. You can call me a Paralympic athlete but until I compete in the ACTUAL paralympics it’s not an accurate title and I want it so bad. Judo is my sport and I’m ready to continue on the road to LA 2028. To represent my country in my country will be a great honor. It won’t come easily. I have to face my fears. I have to face more potential set backs but ultimately I have to keep going. It starts with a small goal of going to practice and working out. From there I can grow to the next goal to win some tournaments. Then I can grow that goal to qualifying for the Paralympics and then I can reach for my ultimate goal to get that g...
