I sat down in my studio that’s become over ran with toys from my daughter. The room that once was my creative space has transitioned into a little family room for music and old VHS tapes. My wife and I moved into this apartment May 15, 2020. Exactly 2 weeks later I asked her to be my wife. Fast forward and we’re on the brink of May 2026 and we have spent 6 years in this place. It’s bittersweet to outgrow a place that have brought so much joy. Both my wife and I have been really delaying leaving here because we love it so much. But about 6/7 months ago we both realized we are exploding at the brim in here and really need more space. More not just for our daughter and dog but more for us. Space where we can create together.
