In 2021 Nick Mullins blindlionn coordinated a meetup in Michigan with a bunch of blind skaters. It was the first time I ever got to meet other skaters who were also blind in such a group setting. It was a weekend that changed my life forever. I met some of my best friends in the world that weekend and I am bonded to these guys for life. Fast forward to 2025 and danthemancina finished his adaptive skatepark and hosted the first ever blind only adaptive skateboarding competition.
