Today, on Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re highlighting how accessibility lives across creative spaces, exhibitions, production, and community collaboration. At Centre[3], access is not one single feature. It can look like technology that supports different ways of experiencing artwork, tactile tools that invite hands-on learning, accessible exhibition materials, and gallery spaces that welcome different access needs. From S3nsora’s access technology to BrailleDoodle tools, braille-printed materials, and the presence of support animals in creative spaces, these moments remind us that accessibility is built through care, intention, and collaboration. This content also connects to the current exhibition in our main gallery and the Beacon prototyping project, supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
