Round 1 of weekend senior hockey is done and dusted. Thanks to all those that helped get the 16 teams out on the pitch, to all those filled in with 45 players unavailable. A great start for the men's pennant metro teams with all getting at least a point on the board - clean sweep at the Spice Bowl Sunday afternoon. Two of our promoted teams Women's pennant A - a draw against last years premier Hawthorn and Men's Pennant B a hard fought win out at PEGS. Three first 'parent and child' team ups with Bronwyn Clarke and Stephen, Jason Crebbin and Rohan and Ken Sandars and Bryn all taking to the field at Elgar Park in Men's metro 1 East.
