Our community came together for the Fresh Food For Families event in a big way! Thanks to the support of our amazing Soldiers and volunteers and a partnership with ctxfoodbank, we successfully served over 500 families through our drive-through food pantry. 🍎🥦 From directing traffic to packing and loading food with care, Soldiers and volunteers went above and beyond to ensure a smooth, respectful and uplifting experience for every guest. This event was more than food distribution; it was a powerful reminder of what community looks like when we show up for each other. 💪 If you missed July's event, mark your calendar's for August 7. The free drive-thru pantry occurs the first Thursday of each month. Future dates and cancellations are published on the Fort Hood Garrison Chaplain's Office Facebook page.
