You’re looking at a newly certified Red Cross babysitter. ✨ Allison Hesbach ✨ just completed her Red Cross Babysitting Certification course, just a month shy of her 13th birthday. 🎉 “We learned about first aid, bug bites and how to do diapering. We learned how to do chest compressions on a manikin baby and practiced wrapping a wound on a pool noodle," said Allison, of the skills she learned in her training class. Now, Allison is ready to kick off her babysitting business and earn a small income for herself. "It's really nice to say to people, 'I took a Red Cross babysitting class. It helps you out a little bit in that department — parents can trust you a little more knowing you're educated.” As a Girl Scout, Allison will also receive a new badge from her local troop for completing the course.
