Thousands of customers are without power in the Chicago area as a line of powerful thunderstorms rumbled through the area Monday. According to the latest estimates from ComEd, nearly 12,000 customers are without power, with the bulk of them located in Cook County. Another 1,000 customers were without power in Will County, according to the utility.
