Record trade at the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up Sale, held May 22, provided a much-needed boost for the breeze-up sector in Europe ✨ A Starman filly and St Mark’s Basilica colt shared the spoils for top lot status at €360,000. “It’s the best sale of the year because everyone feels that they have a chance of competing and that is a good thing.” Along with the fact that nine horses sold for €200,000 or more, the figures stayed steady across the board with a 36% rise in the median to €43,500 and a 14% rise in average to €62,628.
