A Clemson University alumnus and software engineer from Texas charged in the 2024 death of his pregnant wife has fled to Italy, according to investigators. Lee Gilley, 39, was charged with capital murder on Oct. 11, 2024, just days after his wife Christa Gilley, 38, was found dead at their Houston home. Christa Gilley was nine weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
