But it’s up to me to use it.” Four years ago, I walked into Graves Hall during NSO just excited, nervous, and ready to start something bigger than myself. That same week, life tested me in a way I didn’t expect. I had an asthma attack. Following this, I wanted to transfer and go home with my family. However, I’ll never forget being carried out of Graves, looking up, and seeing my Graves Hall brothers lined on the stairs, cheering me on as I was being rushed to the hospital. ❤️ In a moment where I was questioning everything, even whether Morehouse was the place for me, that brotherhood gave me my answer. I was exactly where I needed to be. Since August 7th, 2022… Room 303 to now, this journey has changed me in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
