🐢💚 Sea turtles, kindness, and community all came together through Girl Scout Shea’s #gsGoldAward. Through The S.H.E.A. Project, Shea hosted interactive sea turtle conservation workshops for youth in her community, including children undergoing medical treatment at the Children’s Cancer Center. She also created 61 “Shell Buddy Boxes” filled with comforting ocean-themed items, affirmations, turtle facts, and handwritten notes for children and their siblings. To keep the impact going, Shea launched educational social pages, a video series, and a Girl Scout patch program focused on sea turtle conservation and helping others.
