An Arizona motorcycle rider is going viral after DPS says he led troopers on a high-speed chase across the Valley while wearing a hoodie that literally said “NO PLATE NO CASE.” 😭
According to AZDPS, the chase started around 1AM near I-10 and Elliot after a trooper spotted the motorcycle flying past traffic at more than 100 MPH in a 65 zone.
Officials say the rider refused to stop, hit speeds over 120 MPH and continued racing across the Valley while Mesa Police helicopter “Falcon” tracked him from above.
The chase finally came to an end near Central and Buckeye after the motorcycle reportedly ran out of gas. DPS says the rider was then taken into custody without further incident.
The ironic part? DPS says the motorcycle actually did have a plate… despite the hoodie choice. 😭
The rider was booked on charges including felony flight, criminal speeding and reckless driving.
People in the comments are already calling this one the most Arizona arrest photo of the year. 👀
