Some people say moments like this create lifelong memories for kids and are exactly what community events should be about. Others argue it’s a bad look for Arizona to be spraying massive amounts of water during drought concerns and constant conversations about shortages across the state. 👀
Photos shared by Timber Mesa Fire and Medical show firefighters spraying huge arcs of water across school fields while kids ran through the streams to cool off before summer break officially begins.
Crews also spent time visiting schools for career days, letting students explore fire trucks, learn about firefighting and even try on gear.
