Bangladeshi actor Zayed Khan, currently based in the United States, has revealed that New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani appears alongside him in his upcoming short film — a collaboration the actor described as “a matter of pride for Bangladesh and its red-and-green flag.” The short film, titled “Immigrant Diaries (Episode 2),” is directed by John Kabir and Saad Al Amin. The first episode of the series was released in March. According to Zayed, the project centres on the experiences and stories of immigrants living abroad. Episode 2 is set to premiere on May 27 at 9 PM Bangladesh time on Thikana.
