Answering some of your instant pot questions - more recipes coming your way
1. Understand the true cook time, recipe can call for 15 minutes on high pressure but that can mean it would take 5-6 minutes to build the pressure and 30 minutes to naturally release so that would equal 50 minutes
2. Your instant pot always need some type of liquid or water because that is what is needed to come to pressure, you can use vegetable that releases water but if it’s not enough it won’t come to pressure, if you want dry veggies then it’s best to use saute mode instead. You can even see burn notice if there is not enough liquid in
3. Do no over fill beyond max line especially for foods that expand and don’t go beyond halfway for pot on pot method or else it will overflow
4. Know that pressure valve needs to be sealing if building pressure unless you are using the steam mode and some don’t have the steam mode and you can use it on venting mode with enough liquid at the bottom and it will steam
