✨SCHOOL READINESS ✨ I think school readiness has become one of the biggest sources of pressure for parents! After years in EYFS, the children who settled ‘best’ were rarely the ones who arrived already “ahead” academically. The children who coped with all the changes were often the ones who: ✨ could ask for help ✨ felt confident communicating ✨ had practised independence ✨ could navigate friendships ✨ knew it was okay to make mistakes Your child does NOT need to start school already knowing every phonics term or writing perfect sentences. Play matters. Connection matters. Confidence matters. And for any parents worrying about the emotional side of school starting… that worry is incredibly normal too!
