The number of new melanoma skin cancer cases diagnosed in a year has risen above 20,000 for the first time in the UK. Anyone can get sunburn, including people with darker skin tones, and Cancer Research UK is reminding the public to stay safe over what could be a sunny bank holiday across much of the country.
