The CJ Strong Award is given annually to a member of the men’s lacrosse team that has demonstrated courage and resiliency in the face of adversity. CJ Buechner 19’ was a goalie on the men’s lacrosse team in 2015 and 2016 before being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 1, 2018. After a yearlong battle with cancer, CJ returned to the men’s lacrosse team to serve as a team manager and daily source of inspiration to the program. The recipient has shown dedication the the CNU Men’s Lacrosse team despite significant hardship and has served as a leader in our program throughout his time. This year’s “CJ Strong” award goes to AJ Rosacker (@ajrosacker) Throughout hardships and trials, AJ showed great determination and strength to get back for the season and constantly contribute both on and off the field.
