Sometimes all it takes is asking one extra question. I asked @graytness_15 what she’d be doing if basketball didn’t exist… and somehow nobody told me she has a broadcast degree??? 🎥 So I took her to the truck, got her on air, and let her tap into a completely different side of the game. Watching her genuinely enjoy it was a reminder that athletes should also understand how their stories are told so that they can hold more power in telling their own. Athletes have entire identities outside the game. You just have to care enough to ask.
