Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation 🏍️ In recognition of Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station will conduct a Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the City of Santa Clarita. Deputies will focus on violations by drivers and motorcyclists that increase the risk of crashes, including speeding, unsafe lane changes, improper turning, and right-of-way violations. Safety reminders: - Drivers: Check mirrors and blind spots twice for motorcycles. • Motorcyclists: Wear a DOT-compliant helmet and protective gear. • Always signal lane changes and maintain safe distances. • Never drive or ride under the influence.
