Today, personnel from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station participated in the Murph Challenge in partnership with crossroadscommunitychurch, honoring Lt. Michael P. Murphy (1976–2005), a U.S. Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. The Murph Challenge consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats and another 1-mile run.
