Circa 2021 Throwing it back on this Thursday… before the relationships, the arenas, and the cameras pointed at legends, there was just me with a vision nobody fully understood yet. A long drive to Memphis for the Iverson Classic, sleeping in a smoke infested hotel, running on faith, passion, and the willingness to sacrifice comfort for opportunity. I shot for free because sometimes the investment isn’t money… it’s believing in yourself before the world catches up. Shoutout to Bobby Bates for opening that first door. That opportunity led me to Showtime Basketball ➡️ All The Smoke and completely changed the trajectory of my career. I became part of something bigger than a podcast… a media powerhouse and a cultural staple. My work was featured in their first coffee table book and used in the campaign for their Mezcal, moments that reminded me my art belonged in rooms I once only dreamed about.
