Robin Hood has launched a $1 billion endowment push, anchored by a $100 million Bezos family gift to create the Jackie Bezos Endowment for Early Childhood, named after Jeff Bezos’ late mother. An additional $25 million pledge, subject to a match, could bring the total contribution to $150 million. ‘My mother saw the innate potential in every child and never stopped working to ensure that potential was met,’ Mark Bezos said, referring to Jackie Bezos, who served on the organization’s board for a decade.
