The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has expressed concern over the speed and scale of the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, as case numbers continue to rise. The WHO chief said there are at least 600 suspected cases and 139 suspected deaths since the outbreak began. The current outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo virus, which, unlike the more common Zaire strain of Ebola, has no approved virus-specific treatments or vaccine. #ebola #africa #WHO #news #virus
