The Sixers defeat the Celtics 109-100 in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs 1st Round. Joel Embiid absolutely took the game by storm and cemented his legacy with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists. He talked smack to Jaylen Brown and shut up the entire Boston crowd. Tyrese Maxey dropped his 2nd consecutive 30 point game along with 11 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the way as well. He also scored back-to-back clutch layups late in the 4th quarter to seal the win. VJ Edgecombe had one of the grittiest Game 7 performances ever by a rookie with 23 points on 5 three pointers, along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Paul George played through an illness and Jayson Tatum didn't play due to left leg stiffness, but the Sixers pulled off their first 3-1 comeback in franchise history to take down the Celtics (who they hadn't beat in the playoffs in 44 years).
