Russian forces have hit Kyiv with hypersonic and ballistic missiles, killing four people, just 24 hours after a strike on Starobilsk in Luhansk, a Russian-controlled region in eastern Ukraine.⁣ ⁣ Russia’s attacks involved 600 drones and 90 missiles, carried out on Ukrainian military command facilities, air bases and other enterprises.⁣ Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Russians had fired a nuclear-capable hypersonic Oreshnik missile in the barrage and intercepted 549 of the drones and 55 missiles.⁣ ⁣ Ukrainian authorities and the US embassy had earlier warned of a possible significant attack on Kyiv, after Russia said it would "punish" those responsible for Saturday’s deadly strike.⁣ ⁣ #Russia #Ukraine #kyiv
