Nato General secretary Mark Rutte has underscored the importance of NATO being "prepared for every eventuality” in the wake of continued drone incursions across the Baltics as part of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Speaking at a press conference in Lund, Sweden with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Rutte went on to dissect NATO's “overreliance on one ally", namely the United States.
Rutte said he has been in discussions with the US over how the country will remain involved in some aspects of Europe, as they prepare the process of withdrawing 5,000 troops from Germany.
