With days to go before the California June Primary Election, a topic of concern for a lot of voters is immigration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
While President Trump has made it clear that his first duty is to protect American citizens and not illegal aliens, candidates have clashed over how the state should respond to the President’s policies.
After all, the president will still have two years left in office when the next Governor takes office.
“ICE agents are enforcing the law,” said Republican and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco.
Democrat Tom Steyer countered, “ICE to me is a criminal operation. I’ve said all along we should abolish ICE.”
