Even in 2025, with advanced technology and processes, some projects still require traditional blacksmithing practices, such as these beautiful butterfly shade structures in Bridgeland. Each structure required 1/2x6 inch metal bars to be hand-formed in order to meet design specs. Perforated infill was used on the winglets, and the multicolored Tnemec finishing required a meticulous process where each piece was hand-taped and masked to achieve really clean lines.
