Captured during our recent production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, these reflections from our Youth Ballet Program students remind us that the journey toward identity, confidence, and belonging is deeply personal yet universally shared. In this reel, our students Benjamin Ye, Sonu Gupta-Kagan, Laurel Kirby, Juniper Calabrese, Coco Suzuki reflect on what it means to feel represented within dance, to see themselves within the studio environment, and to find connection through both community and culture. Their words speak to the importance of visibility not only on stage, but within the classrooms, mentorship, and artistic spaces that help shape young artists.
