Those are some of the most satisfying words you can say in the OR — and today's case was a great reminder of why early evaluation matters so much. 🙌
Here's what we found inside this patient's knee:
🔬 A very small radial tear through the posterior meniscus. Tiny, contained, and clean — exactly the type of tear that responds beautifully to a precise arthroscopic trim. No complex reconstruction needed. Just careful, targeted removal of the unstable fragment while preserving every bit of healthy tissue around it.
👁 Minimal arthritis on the medial side. Early-stage, closely monitored — not severe enough to alter the surgical plan or the prognosis. We document it, we watch it, and we address it proactively going forward.
✅ Overall? Her knee looks pretty good. A strong, healthy joint with one small problem that was caught in time — and fixed with minimal intervention.
