On short haircuts with thick hair there is an area around the ear that can be a challenge. 💪🏻 Leave it too long and it’s like wearing ear muffs.. cut it too short and there is no movement or softness. Here is my solution! 1. Create a V section over the ear 2. Make sure the hair above the V is long enough to cover the area underneath 3. Softly carve out the V, using either my Carve & Slide scissors, a razor , or my 40 tooth texturizers. 4.
