This traditional log raft ride (ķė°ė ėėŖ© 첓ķ) below the peninsula formation is actually a piece of living history. Long before roads or trains crossed these mountains, the winding rivers were the only highways around. Logging was a huge deal in Yeongwol back then, so workers would chop down massive pine trees, tie them together into giant wooden rafts, and use the river to float them downstream.
As a cool new experience, they now let you dip your feet right into the water while you drift past the massive limestone cliffs. It is the perfect way to cool off and just watch the ripples go by.
