All of these clips are centered around one idea: scoring through contact. You’ll see a variety of different shots and finishes, but there are a few key things to notice:
1 Most of the shots are fades after the bump.
The contact creates just enough space to get the defender off balance and open a clean scoring window.
2 Timing matters. The bump has to happen at the right moment. That timing is developed through live reps, especially repeated 1-on-1 situations where players learn when to initiate contact.
3. You don’t have to be taller or stronger to use contact well.
Think less about size and more about center of gravity, leverage, and balance. Smaller players can use their body position to create an advantage without needing to overpower the defender.
