Grizz Chapman, best known for his supporting role as Grizz on #30Rock, has died at 52. Chapman, who stood nearly 7 feet tall, portrayed the fan favorite character, one of the two gentle-giant figures who made up the entourage of Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) alongside Dot Com (Kevin Brown). Grizz was one of the most thoughtful and emotionally intelligent figures on the sitcom, in stark contrast with the zany narcissism of most of its key players. '30 Rock' also suggested that the character had a simmering sexual tension with Liz Lemon (Tina Fey), whom he and he alone called "Beth."
