Check-up time for the otter pups! 🩺 The Detroit Zoo veterinary team just completed the pup's 4-week health exam. During the exam, it was determined that all three of these adorable otters are female and developing at a healthy rate. The animal care team will continue to track their progress while the pups stay cozy behind the scenes with their doting mom, Kalee. We estimate that they will be ready to explore their outdoor habitat sometime in late June.
