Clients and friends with PCOS often share that they’ve felt misunderstood or confused by symptoms that didn’t seem to “fit” the condition as they understood it. Which is why this update is very much needed. I’m curious to know what you think about the name change – let me know in the comments! And if you know someone with 𝖯̶𝖢̶𝖮̶𝖲̶ PMOS, send this to them 🩵 P.S. This shift won’t happen overnight, so don’t be surprised if you still see PCOS being used for a while. International guidelines are expected to catch up over the next 3 years P.P.S. I missed “ovarian” when I read out PMOS 🙈 just to be clear, the full updated name is Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome 🔎 DOI: 10.1016/S0140-6736(26)00717-8 #TCMnutrition #nutritionSG #letstalknutrition
